The Missouri Cyber Range

Why the Cyber Range?

A Cyber Range provides a safe, virtual testing area of technical concepts. This can encompass everything from security training to quality assurance, development testing, and a host of other services. By conducting these operations on a cloud-hosted environment it ensures that teams from all across the globe can coordinate without the cost and complexity of traditional on-premises solutions.

Accelerate Learning, Connectivity, and DevOps

  • A Cyber Range provides a safe, virtual testing area of technical concepts. 
  • Instructors can establish labs for training and teaching students in a safe environment. 
  • Clone development, QA (test), and production environments, enabling safe testing of the software and security that surrounds it and works within it.  
  • Provide training and certification for students and team members for major cybersecurity frameworks, including the NIST 800 standards and many others.
  • Host live security attack and defense exercises, all in a controlled environment. All range of cybersecurity skills can be tested – students, defense and military sector, and private company stakeholders.
